What Happens When You Accumulate Six or More Points?

Starting at six points, your insurance company will be automatically notified of your violations. This means that your rates will likely go up. That is just the beginning.
After six points, the State of Pennsylvania will require you to take and pass another written exam. You have thirty days to do this. If you do not pass, then your license will be suspended until you are able to. Once you successfully pass the test, then two points will automatically be taken off your record. The second time you accumulate six points, you will have to go to court and make an appearance. If you do not, then you will receive an automatic sixty-day suspension.
